He's Proud to be an American!

We finally got around to hanging a big 'memory box' that my Aunt Trudy made, with memorabilia of my dad's. Most of it is related to his service in the military. We are supposed to rotate it amongst the 3 kids, but since no one else has the room for it, and it fits perfectly on this big empty wall (trust me, it's much bigger that it looks), it has probably found it's perfect resting place. We hung it yesterday, September 11, which seemed a fitting day to hang something so patriotic, from my couragious hero, my dad! (In contrast to the cowards that committed such horrific acts on this day 7 years ago)

Some of the items in the box are :

The flag presented at his burial,
Boston Redsox cap,
Pages from sign-in book, newspaper clipping, and program, all from memorial service,
Picture of family, Portland, Maine,
Air Force ID card,
Korea Patch, Picture in his uniform, Shell casings from Honor Guard, from his military honor burial
